She's accompanied by her father, grandparents, and her mother's best friend, Catherine. From Thanksgiving through Haunukkah and Christmas to New Year's, Knit the Season is a story about the richness of family bonds and the joys of friendship.

His posts describe the day-to-day events--funny, boring, dangerous, frustrating--that ultimately become satisfying as he and his men come to understand the local Iraqi culture and establish a friendly working relationship with the Iraqi men they are training. The 2008 football season was one of transition for the Green Bay Packers and their legion of loyal fans. For the first time in seventeen years, the team was entering the season without three-time MVP Brett Favre. After a whirlwind summer of rumor and controversy, Packers management traded Favre to the New York Jets, leaving “Packer Backers” worldwide to cope with life after Favre and now, cope with his presence on the Vikings. Wisconsin native Phil Hanrahan spent the 2008 season in Green Bay talking to fans, players, and in Life After Favre, recounts his experiences in Packerland with wit, energy, humor and color.
